The LEWESIAN started in October 2021 in response to the continued absence of a monthly publication in LEWES in the wake of the first lockdown of 2020. Since then, with its combination of local news, local events, local people and local services it has gone from strength to strength and has become a really popular edition to LEWES life.
Meet the team behind The LEWESIAN below…
Sally Edwards
Sally, the editor, has lived on the Nevill estate in Lewes for more than 20 years. She runs a puppetry company, WishWorks, and is a PATINA artist, amongst other things.
Sally loves Lewes and the diverse people who live there. She is passionate about the beauty around us and wants to encourage people to shine.
Sally would love to hear from local people who have something they want to share in the magazine, be it an exhibition, a loved pet, an opinion piece, an event, an obituary or anything in between.
Tim Clark
In charge of advertising and also the layout is Tim Clark. Tim has nearly 20 years’ experience dealing with local businesses and laying out local magazines.

The magazine is printed by Gemini Press. They are based in Shoreham and print the magazine on sustainable paper.
